I have been watching Return of The Condor Heroes [the latest rendition] these 3 straight days. I just finished watching the series 2 hours ago on the 3rd day. And I have to admit it's really well-made, the cast could never be wrong especially the actor who played Guo Jing [usually the previous actors who had played Guo Jing before, all of them were not very good-looking, but in the latest rendition, the Guo Jing's totally great as an actor both physically and mentally.
The actress who played Guo Xiang in this latest rendition is a total SWEETHEART, she's really good at playing her character. She's genuinely sweet and cute, I could feel her when I was watching it. I have to say that the actress who played Serpent Deity - Li Mo Chou in this latest version is quite beautiful and of course deadly [as a fighter] but as the Li Mo Chou herself, I don't think she's that terrifying, compared to actresses who played the character before in the previous renditions. But she's still a bitch and I love that !!
I've never commented on this particular character before and this is my first time, the actor who played Yeh Lu Ji [sorry for the mispelling of the Chinese Pin Yin] is really good at playing the character. The usual me will never care about Yeh Lu Ji character, but this latest rendition of the series has made the character noticeable. And that's a great thing *props*.
I have to admit that Huang Xiao Ming did a great job portraying the character of Yang Guo. To me, he was not very believable the first time [clearly he would look very old whenever he stood next to Crystal Liu - Little Dragon Lady]. Though he wasn't very believable when he played the teenage Yang Guo but he's still awesome. But when his rendition of Yang Guo had reached the Condor Heroes level, Huang Xiao Ming was unbelievable AWESOME. Huang Xiao Ming played Yang Guo very well, though I don't think he could beat Andy Lau's version, but I think Huang Xiao Ming had made his own milestone. I have to admit I started to admire him as a person, he's hardwoking and great at what he does.
And this one is my favorite. None other than the Little Dragon Lady herself - Crystal Liu. OMG! I wish I could marry her, she's hot and innocent at the same time and she did exhibit her skills and her beauty. I don't think I need to compliment Crystal Liu anymore because I have written a blog specifically about her portrayal. Crystal Liu did an awesome job portraying Little Dragon Lady and I love her dearly. I think just I couldn't hold myself back whenever I saw her in the series with that beautiful-innocent look, wearing that white dress, and exhibiting strength all at the same time. Sometimes I just wanted to rip off her white robes and went BERSERK mode. Gosh !! I'm sorry for being such a pervert.
Believe me, this latest rendition of Return of The Condor Heroes has everything, from action to drama. At first, I thought it's all about CGI-over the top-action but I was wrong. This rendition is AWESOME and comes with one package : 1. Drama 2. Awesome Action 3. Acting Skills 4. Great Actors - Casting 5. Direction - Scenery - Location

1. I always dislike actresses who played the stupid spoiled daughter Guo Fu of the Guo Family and this time there's nothing different. Sorry ! though I don't hold any grudges, I still don't like Guo Fu and all previous actresses who played the character before.
2. I just want to say a few things to one certain actor who played Yang Guo before [and I dare not to watch his rendition because it's awful and everyone knows about it]. I want to say that he's unqualified to play Yang Guo both physically and mentally [especially - in the physical department]. I won't mention his [so-called] famous name but I think everyone knows who I'm talking about. With that kind of facial features, he could never portray Yang Guo, I just never understand how that certain actor got the part. Look at Andy Lau, Louis Koo, Huang Xiao Ming [3 different portrayal of Yang Guos at their best] that's how Yang Guo's supposed to be played. Try to beat them, but I guess you're just too LATE !!
